Whatsapp released ‘Disappearing Messages’ option in November 2020. First released in beta then rolled out to the public users, allowing users to set a 7-day timer for messages for Disappearing. But now whatsapp testing users to set a ’24 hours’ to disappear.
Disappearing Messages feature for any contact or group in your chat list. So, once you turn on the feature for a chat or a group, messages, media, and files sent on the chat or the group will automatically be deleted from the chat window after seven days.
