The most anticipated Genshin Impact update since the game’s launch, version 4.0, which will include a new region named Fontaine, was announced by Hoyoverse, the company behind it as well as many other games, around a week ago. The “Nation of Justice” refers to Fontaine, the sixth region to be included in the game. As previously noted, the update adds the following elements, characters, and enhancements to the game.
New Characters & Weapons
The three new characters in the game are Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet. Lynette is a four-star Anemo and Sword user, whereas Lyney is a five-star bow and Pyro user. Freminet, the third member of the group, has a four-star Cryo rating. Moreover, Yelan’s signature weapon for Phase 1 is Aqua Simulacra, and Zhongli and Childe’s signature weapons for Phase 2 are “Vortex Vanquisher” and “Polar Star,” respectively. New Region: Fontaine

New Events and Free Primogems
The update brings the following events:
- Mega Meka Melee – Underwater Parkours, Combat Challenge, and Rhythm Game
- Relic Records: Creations of the Hydro Nation – Exploration and Collection Challenge
- Studies in Light and Shadow: A Fontaine of Enchantment – Photography Challenge
- Verdict of Blades – Combat Challenge
- Lay Line Overflow
All of these combined should give you lots of Primogems to pull for your Favorite upcoming Genshin Impact Fontaine characters.
Genshin impact Two Free Characters
In Genshin Impact, players will receive two complimentary four-star characters, Lynette and Bennett. If your adventure rank is 25 or higher, you can get Lynette in the game. Bennett, on the other hand, can be acquired by participating in the Mega Meka Melee competition, which is the 4.0 event’s centrepiece. Players will get two free characters in the game at once for the first time this time.
Genshin Impact New Character Party Animations
Besides new characters and events, the update also adds new animations in the party select menu. These animations are quite different from the regular idle animations of the characters and definitely add to the experience.
